🧩 Whiteboard

The WiseMindAI Whiteboard is for organizing structure, flows, relationships, and drafts. Compared with writing a block of text alone, a whiteboard lets you place scattered information in one space so you can see how it connects.

You can use it to:

• Outline the structure of an article or book.
• Break down a topic and a learning path.
• Sketch product flows, project steps, or plan drafts.
• Brainstorm and put ideas on the canvas first.
• Turn documents or knowledge base content into clearer diagrams.

Before you start

The whiteboard is powered by the Excalidraw plugin. If you are prompted to install the plugin the first time you open the whiteboard, click Install whiteboard plugin on the page. After installation, you can create and edit whiteboards in WiseMindAI.

If the plugin does not load correctly, open Plugin management and check whether the whiteboard plugin is installed.

Create a new whiteboard

On the whiteboard page, click New whiteboard in the top-left corner to create a blank board. You can freely add text, shapes, arrows, connectors, and sketches on the canvas.

Create a whiteboard with AI

If you do not want to start from a blank canvas, click Create whiteboard with AI.

You can enter:

• A topic, for example: “Help me organize the structure of the Feynman technique.”
• A summary of an article.
• A learning goal.
• A long passage of complex content or a project description.

WiseMindAI generates a whiteboard draft from your input. You can then edit, extend, and refine it on the board.

This is useful when you want a first version of the structure quickly, without drawing everything from scratch.

Create a whiteboard from documents or the knowledge base

Document pages and knowledge base pages in WiseMindAI also include a whiteboard entry.

While you are reading a document or organizing the knowledge base, you can create a linked whiteboard for the current content. You stay in your current workflow and turn the material into a structural diagram.

Typical uses:

• After reading a document, turn key points into a structure diagram.
• Pull concept relationships out of knowledge base content.
• Convert a document summary into a visual whiteboard.
• Maintain multiple whiteboards for a single knowledge base topic.

If content already has a linked whiteboard, open it from the whiteboard entry and continue editing.

Other features

1. Import Excalidraw files: If you already have an .excalidraw file, you can import it into WiseMindAI.
2. Export whiteboards: Export as images or .excalidraw files.
